Meet Our Sales Team at Kenray

 

Hello everyone. My name is Dan Atkin, and I’m the head of sales at Kenray. I’d like to take a few moments today to show you around our newly refitted sales office here at Kenray headquarters.

 

As you can see from this map, we have technical sales people in numerous countries throughout the world, there on hand to deal with your enquiry and provide you with the best possible solution for your application.

Here we have two key members of the Kenray sales team. First, we have Stacey, Stacey looks after our after sales side and across from her we have Julie, Julie deals with order processing and making sure that all the details rather correct before your job moves on to the next stage of the process, which is engineering.

Our high quality communication and conferencing Software System allows us to stay in contact with the regional members of the Kenray sales team as well as our customers from across the globe.

Kenray team expansion – Mark Tilley, Packaging Technologist & Material Specialist

Kenray Forming Ltd continues to grow its capabilities and expertise in the field of packaging materials and is pleased to announce the arrival of Mark Tilley as Packaging Technology and Materials specialist, who will be working closely with Commercial Director, Mark Evans and Technical Director Andrew Dennis.

Mark brings with him over 30 years of experience in FMCG, both as an end-user with PepsiCo International, and also as a  Technical SME.   He has an in-depth knowledge of flexible packaging, and of late has been heavily involved in the complex world of sustainable packaging selection, application and specification.

Kenray offers clients four decades of experience along with continuous development in R&D and is regarded as the global leader in Forming Sets for VFFS food and pharmaceutical packaging machines.  Mark’s addition to the team expands Kenray’s ability to consult with clients and provide a holistic solution to their needs in a world of fast-changing regulatory and environmental demands.

Kenray Forming Set Refurbishments – a sustainable and cost effective solution

 

In today’s short video. I’d like to talk to you a little bit about refurbishment and how we can take your old set and turn it back into a new one. Once we receive your former we identify it, tag it and give it a serial number to keep track. We’ll look at the former and identify any obvious problems with it.

 

In this example, you can see there is damage to the forming shoulder. Once the engineers have collected all the information and establish what needs doing, we’ll get in touch with you and send you a quotation.

Once quotations been accepted we will produce a Kenray job card, so we can proceed with the work. The next step in the process will be to disassemble the former to ensure it’s completely clean and replace any parts that are required.

Once that has been complete, we will reassemble the former and check it over to make sure everything is correct.

The final step in the process will be to machine test the former on one of our in-house testing machines.

So there you can see, we can take your old forming set and turn it around and return it to you. So, it’s as good as new for more information about how we can help you.

PPMA Show Success for Kenray

Kenray exhibited at the PPMA Show, NEC last week and it was great to see exhibitions back in action after the pandemic.

Dan Atkin and Alan Beverly & Kenray Team showcased the latest Kenray developments in forming solutions including horizontal folding boxes, Paper film solutions and our new stick pack formers.

 There was a great range of technologies shown at the show and it was great to meet existing clients again amongst the many new faces attending for the first time.

Seeing the PPMA busy and full of familiar faces was great to know businesses are bouncing back after COVID-19 restrictions, we are excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to work together soon.

KENRAY IS DELIGHTED TO BE ATTENDING PPMA SHOW AT THE NEC IN BIRMINGHAM FOR THE 2021 SHOW-STAND B44

Kenray Forming Ltd are pleased to announce that we are attending the PPMA show and will be at stand B44 on the 28th to 30th of September 2021, at the NEC in Birmingham.
